What
do you love about your sport?
Telemarking
is awesome because it is so versatile. You have tons of control
and power while you are riding down the mountain, yet it takes
a lot of balance and technique. It also adds a fun element
in the park.
What
do you do when you’re not on the snow?
When
I am not on the snow, I am kayaking or editing
Most
embarrassing moment?
When
I was in Kindergarten I got my head stuck in a big wooden block,
and my teachers had to take the block apart with a hammer.
Scariest moment?
When
I did a misty and a half over the big jump at Breck.

Max
is a progressive freeheeler who tries to encompass both park and
free riding into his skiing. As the co-founder of a new film company,
Falling Forward Films, Max has been a part of both sides of the
camera. This experience has led to a better understanding of what
it takes to create a good shot. Max’s favorite arena is the
big mountain, where there is a lot of potential to work on tricks
off of cliffs, cornices, and jumps.
