most memorable moment in is ski career is when he and his brother
Chris competed in the famous O’neill Extreme. Ted took
4th and Chris was 3rd for the judge’s vote, and took
3rd and 2nd respectively for the riders vote. “Standing
next to my brother on the podium was the coolest moment in
my life, but next year we’ll go 1 and 2!” Sorry

Ted’s off-season interest includes B.A.S.E Jumping, Motocross and road - mountain biking. Living in Colorado gives ample opportunity to do all these sports. B.A.S.E jumping has become Ted’s off-season passion, jumping in the US and Europe. Ted’s skiing career almost came to an end last winter when he had a wall strike while jumping a 1300ft cliff in France. Luckily Ted only suffered a broken foot, and is back on the hill doing what he does best…skiing pow and going big!
